I want to set you free this morning to worship your God with praise and thanksgiving; to humbly appreciate all that He has done in your life, in your home, and in your ministry. It is not bragging to be thankful; therefore, get busy this morning. David had no problem giving God praise. He knew each victory was a gift from Yahweh, and he knew that without God he would have absolutely nothing. David is completely humble in his praise and thanksgiving. He is not trying to impress others or show off God's blessings; his goal is to simply celebrate what God has done. As you worship this morning with your brothers and sisters in Christ, feel free to share a victory that you experienced this week or to share a blessing that God poured out on you and your family. Do not hesitate to publicly proclaim the goodness of the Lord, because He deserves that praise and is magnified in the eyes of those who hear it. Worship is not about you or about the other people present; it is 100% about God! He is the reason we worship and the root of our worship. If you cannot praise Him during corporate worship, then when can you? Today is the day God has given us to praise Him and thank Him as an act of corporate worship for Him. Will we say with David, "be exalted in Your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise Your might."

Help me, Lord, to take every opportunity You provide to offer thanks and praise for who You are and what You have done. Help me to focus my worship upon You today and not worry about what others think, because You are worthy of it.
