For those friends who serve the Lord in full-time or bi-vocational ministry, always remember that God has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. God tells Aaron how He is going to meet His family's needs. They were given portions of each sacrifice to help feed themselves and their loved ones. When you think about it, God is calling these people to walk by faith. They must trust fully in Him to provide for their every need by sending the people to offer sacrifices. We, too, must walk by faith knowing God has greater plans for us than we could ever imagine. That does not mean that He is going to make you rich or even stop all of your problems from returning; He simply promises to provide for all of your needs. Through the years, I have learned regularly that He is faithful to provide no matter what the circumstance or situation. As His child, God will provide, but He might choose to provide through trial, sickness, or even death. No, His ways do not always make sense at first, but eventually, we see His provision in our lives and rejoice in His faithfulness. I suspect most of the priests in Aaron's day did not get consumed with how or when God would provide; they simply believed with all their hearts that He would.

Help me, Lord, to be thankful for Your constant provision in my life. Help me to give You all the credit for all Your provisions as I walk daily by faith.
