Do you feel fully equipped to fulfill the ministry that God has called you to? Paul starts this letter with the beautiful reminder that we already have the fullness of spiritual blessings. We do not have seek for them or study to learn them; instead we must tap into the resources God has placed inside of us in the person of His Holy Spirit. Paul also reveals the Spirit's role as the guarantor of our inheritance. His presence means you will enjoy heaven for eternity. If you have all those resources, do you need to study your Bible or pray? God inspires us through His Word and uses it to help the Spirit convict us of our sin. We need that daily feeding from the Word that helps us to tap deeper into those spiritual blessings He has given us. Without that time of study, we will forget that "in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness or our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace..." Prayer balances our lives and renews our relationship daily. It helps us talk to God about our sorrow, our shame, our anger, and our struggles with sin. He helps put it all in perspective and keeps us motivated to do the work of the ministry. Prayer is our lifeline which is why we are commanded to "pray without ceasing." We need to keep those lines of communication open so we can stay in the center of God's plan through His Holy Spirit. God has fully prepared you for the ministry He has called you to so spend time in the Scriptures and in prayer and tap into those heavenly blessings that come from heavenly realms.

Help me, Lord, to tap into those spiritual blessings throughout my day and especially in ministry. Help me to rest in the truth that Your Spirit inside of me guarantees my room/mansion in heaven.
