As God rewrites the Ten Commandments and tells Moses to put them in the Ark of the Covenant, He reminds the people of the simplicity for success. If they want to succeed in the Promised Land then they need "to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to Him, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul, and observe the Lord's command and decrees." God makes it clear that true success does not come from intelligence or from a magnetic personality; instead it comes from Him. When we learn to fear the Lord, we lean away from sin and its negative effects. When we walk in obedience to the Lord, then we are doing what God wants us to do while staying away from sin. When we serve the Lord, we are going beyond a daily walk and beginning to apply what we learn for ministry to others. When we observe the Lord's commands and decrees, we reveal the depth of our love for God. All these commands push us toward more than religion; God wants a relationship with you and wants you to enjoy success from His perspective. Does that sound like your walk with God? Are you striving for a growing relationship with God each day? Are you see success in your life like He sees it? This is the relationship God wants to have with you. He has done His part, what is stopping you from doing yours?

Help me, Lord, to fear, walk in obedience, love, serve, and observe Your commandments as I grow in a relationship with You. Help me to see and enjoy success from Your perspective knowing my confidence and comfort come only from You!.
